Here’s our second update for the SAFIR Hajen to all those with pre-orders. A big thank you for your support and patience!
The production of the watches was completed last week. We’ve enclosed some pictures in this post below. The final step remaining would be the final Quality Control. This is all in line with our original release date in September. However, the watch rolls for the SAFIR Hajen have been delayed about two weeks. It’s still theoretically possible that we may be able to start dispatching the watches by the end of the month, but realistically we’re looking at early to mid October. We apologize sincerely for the slight delay.
Our original timeline was based on the SAFIR Hajen to be shipped in stock watch sleeves. However, even though the SAFIR Hajen is a somewhat more affordable watch than the Celegin watches, we couldn’t resist the temptation to develop bespoke watch rolls for the SAFIR Hajen also. With custom made watch rolls, our time schedule was increased by approximately a month (3 weeks for the sample and 1 week extra for the production). In the end, we believe that creating a unique experience is not only what we feel is right, but also what we believe you deserve.
For those of you who have followed us for a longer time, you know how much we value being open and honest about things.
We will get back with a new update withing the next 2-3 weeks as soon as we get closer to our release date. In the meanwhile, feel free to get back at any time should you have any questions or thoughts.
